Wrebbit's Puzz-3D Victorian Mansion>

by Matthew Rice, age 17

This game is based off of the actual 3D puzzles out there in the stores. It brings you the ability to build those 3D puzzles, but now you don’t have to worry about a lot of pieces all over the place. With it’s rendering capabilities it gives you the simulation of doing the real thing.

I found this game to be very easy to setup and get going. I ran it on a Bondi Blue iMac with no troubles at all.

I had never gotten to build a real 3D puzzle and I found this game to be very entertaining. It took me a couple of days to finish the puzzle.

Puzz 3D gives an age range from kids to adults. Based on the different skill levels you can choose from, I would say that its age field is correct.

This game was made to bring the player as close to actually building a puzzle as possible. Since I had never done a real 3D puzzle, I found this game to do exactly what it was trying to do, witch was to feel like I was doing a real puzzle.

In my opinion the best part of this game was it’s innovation. They were able to take puzzle building to a new level.

I did find though, that their interactive "QUICKTIME VR" type style second half-gaming experience was a little low tech compared to the actual building of the puzzle.

For those of you out there who love puzzles and for the ones who just like computer games and to try something new, I say go and try this game out. There are three different puzzles available, so don’t feel like you have to do the same one over and over again.
