Subject:Read me!

Hey Ausgal,

What have you been up to? I played basketball today we kicked ass. It was 28-4. How'd volleyball go? You look great on the court! ;) Meet me online before school at 7am. It will be just you and me. Private. Talk to you then.

Love you always, Spunky xxxooo

As Cindy stared at the screen in disbelief she remembered back to just two weeks ago when all this started. It was in chat on a cold, rainy Friday night. "Spunky" had seemed like the perfect friend. He had a great personality, had interesting hobbies, liked to play sports and was just a nice guy to talk to. But after they exchanged e-mail addresses Cindy had been recieving horrible messages. She knew she should tell her mum and dad, but she knew they wouldn't let her use the internet anymore, because they knew something like this was bound to happen.

Shaking, Cindy quickly exited her Internet Explorer when an instant message flashed on to the screen.

Hey Sexy, where are you?

It's 7.30am, I have to go

to school soon. Please

come into chat.

Cindy switched off her computer and realised she was running late, she grabbed her bag and hurried to school. As she burst through the school's front doors it looked like a shop straight after a clearance sale.

She hurried to her first class, English. Mr Wilson was her favourite teacher and he greeted her with a warm smile as she quickly took her seat,

Mr Wilson handed Cindy her book back, as she opened her book a piece of scented paper fell out.

Your heart is like gold

Our love will unfold.

Your eyes make me melt

You're the card I've been delt.

Our friendship is rare

So for you I will care.

We'll live together

From now 'till forever.

My love is so true

I'll always stand by you.

Cindy couldn't believe what she was reading. Who wrote this? She quickly stood up, knocking her chair over, and hurried to her locker. As Cindy opened her locker large yellow envolpe fell out. She cautiously opened it to see many--at least a dozen photos--of herself. They were of Cindy getting changed, walking to school and spending time with firends.

Terrified, she slammed her locker door shut and ran. As Cindy ran from the school, she could sense someone following her. But as she glanced over her shoulder she couldn't see anyone. Panting from her 4km run home, Cindy reached her front gate and rested for a moment. Continuing up to her front porch she saw a dozen red roses sitting outside the front door. Cindy slowly edged her way up the stairs and slowly opened the envelope.

To my dearest Cindy,

These flowers really match your perfect personality.

With love,

Your secret admirer xxxooo

A chill crept up her spine as she threw the card on the ground. Cindy picked up the flowers, unlocked the doors and went inside. She left a note for her mum.

Hi Mum, I don't feel well. I'm

going to go and have a lie down.

Love you, Cindy.

Cindy went upstairs into her room, where she found an envelope on the bed. It was covered in hearts and kisses, Cindy stared at it for what seemed like hours, when she finally gathered enough courage to open the envelope.

Cindy darling,

You are the centre of my life. I can think of nothing but you. Your beautiful long blonde hair, sparkling blue eyes, your smile. Everything about you is so perfect. I think this is love. I dream of the day when we can be together. Just you and me! Forever! I'll keep on watching you.

I'll love you with all my heart.

-your secret admirer

This is getting worse! Cindy couldn't believe it. "Why can't this all be over?" She kept asking herself.

Mum must be home, she thought, hearing pots pans clattering in the kitchen. As Cindy threw herself onto the bed she could hear the phone ring. "Mum'll get it," she told herself, as she shut her eyes. "What a day."

"Cindy!" Mrs McGregor Called, "Phone call."

"Coming!" Replied Cindy, wondering who it might be.

"Hello, this is Cindy" she started. "Hello? Is anyone there?" A moment of concern swept over her. She was about to hang up when she heard something. It was someone breathing deeply. Terrified, Cindy hung up and shut her eyes. Cindy spent the night silent, eating little and restlessly sleeping. Before she knew it, it was morning. She got up and got ready for school. Once Cindy was ready she checked her e-mails.

"Oh-no" she thought, as she opened one from "Spunky."

Hey Ausgal,

I missed you yesterday! I really think you're sexy. You should wear blue more often, it really brings out your eyes.

Tonight come online, I have something planned for you.

Love always Spunky.

"Not again!" cried Cindy. She quickly shut off her computer and went to school. She needed to talk to someone she had to get help. Who could she trust?

As Cindy got to school she went straight to Mr Wilson's office. He'd understand, he could help her. The door was open so she walked straight in. Mr Wilson was no where to be seen. Cindy glanced at the computer and saw he was writing an e-mail. Curious, she began to read it.

"No, it can't be," she told herself. Suddenly she heard a noise. As she spun around, she saw Mr Wilson walk out of the storeroom. He looked at her with a big grin on his face and said "Hello Ausgal!"
