THE CAMP- Alaska, 1988
A group of explorers had set up their camp somewhere in the
Alaskan woods. There have been rumors of many deaths happening
in the last 8 years, that might have been caused by a new species
of animal. They have no idea what it is, until.......
"So, Jack, like our trip to Alaska so far?" said a man, sitting
next to Jack around a campfire. "I would probably like it more
if it weren't so cold! Besides, we've found nothing here yet!
We still don't know what is causing all the deaths!" said Jack.
He then took out a notebook that appeared to be a journal, and
wrote in it.
"But what about last night, something was outside our tents,
wasn't there?" said the man. Jack acted as if he didn't knew what
he was talking about, and continued writing in the journal. "Remember,
last night, all of those weird sounds?" the man said again. Jack
continued writing. Once he was done, something was rustling in
the nearby trees. Humoungous thuds that shook the Earth almost
made Jack and the man topple over. It did the same to the other
campers as well. Then, a head thrashed out of the trees, roaring
in it's loudest, a sound never heard by human before. The campers,
including Jack and the man, were running away from the ferocious
creature, which was snapping it's huge jaws at the campers.
They were being chased by a creature that used to be extinct,
and used to live in the Cretaceous Period, they were being chased
by a Tyrannosaurus Rex.......
AN OLD SPECIES RETURNS- present day
"Mr. President! You're here," said Dan Marsh, a famous scientist
from Washington State. The President, Cory Latnor, sat down saying,
"Yes, Mr. Marsh, I am here, so could we now discuss the problem
that you think is occurring right now. I have more than a million
things to do right now, and IÔm in quite a bit of a hurry, so
could you please start, Mr. Marsh."
"Well," Dan started, "lately there has been weird things occurring
outside of the borders of Alaska, the country of Canada, and Washington
State. Me and some other scientists think that it all started
in Alaska, but are not sure. We don't have enough evidence to
support that theory. There have been signs of weird footprints
and murders, and wrecked buildings around those borders. I mean,
it has been happening for the last 20 years, but it's gotten really
serious now. Murders are going sky high because of this thing,
or I mean, things."
"What do you mean 'things'? You mean some kind of species of
animals have been doing this for the last 20 years...How could
you not tell me sooner!" "Well as I said, Mr. President, It hasn't
gotten this serious 'til now. I don't know for sure what species
of animal this is, but what I do think it is will shock you,"
said Dan. Dan then took out a few photos and plastic slides out
of his brief case.
"You see, Mr. President, Here I have some photos of the footprints
of the species, and photos of the murder victims. I even have
some blood samples on these slides. Here, look at the footprint
pictures," Dan said, and showed the president the pictures. The
footprints were all different sizes and shapes. "What the hell,
I've never seen any footprint look like these before, except some
of them look like bird footprints, only larger. What are these
footprints from?" said the president. "Well, before I tell you,
look at the murder victims."
Dan then passed out those pictures.
The murder victims were ripped to shreds, with blood everywhere,
as if they got slashed and bit by a lion, only more viciously,
and more gruesome.
"Oh my God! Ugh, get those away from me! I've never seen anything
that disgusting in my life!" the president said. "And if you notice,
there are big teeth marks and slashing marks all over the body.
It obviously came from a very large creature. Oh, and besides
these murders, people say they were picked up by huge flying creatures
that dropped them from high heights. I wonder what did that?"
Dan exclaimed.
"You're saying that you think I know what animals you're talking
about, Mr. Marsh, I most certainly do not!" "Well, then, I will
now show you my last resource, blood samples. I took a long hard
look at these a few weeks ago and found out who they belonged
to, now sir, please think this over, it may sound crazy, but I
think they belong to.....dinosaurs."
"Dinosaurs, dinosaurs? You expect me to believe something like
that? You could get into big trouble if you did this to somebody
else, but since you made me 'almost' truly believe everything
you said, I'll let you off the hook. Only if you go that, is...,"
said the president. "But.......Mr. President, you don't understand.
A dinosaur did do this, a dinosaur was there, the dinosaurs have
come back to life, they're here again! I don't know how, I don't
know why, they just are!" said Dan. "Sorry Mr. Marsh, I just don't
believe you." "But Mr. President, You have to trust me, you just
have to! The whole world depends on us!"
Suddenly 5 guards came in, taking Dan by his arms, carried him
out of the office, and kicked him out, literally! "Damn it! I
can see why he doesn't believe me, but he could at least have
shown more gratitude." Dan then got out of the White House, jumped
in his car, and drove off.
